21/02/98 - Creatives Voodoo 2 released on friday. It excelerates up to 3 times faster than standard 3dfx and if used in pairs can double the performance. go to Voodoo2 site to find out more information on what can be expected from this amazing new card.

21/02/98 - AMD K6 3D to be released summer 98, this new chip will make up for the low FPS in the current K6, the 3d part of the chip directly accelerates FPS which works out all the landscape in modern games like flight simulaters. This chip will be fully surported in the upcoming version of Direct X 6, due to be released this summer. This chip has been estimated to be faster than the Intel Petium 2 300 but still uses the same ZIFF socket 7 motherboard. The chip runs at a bus speed of 100Mhz and 400Mhz and 450Mhz Chip are to be released before Christmas 98.
